So what have I been up to this past year?
In October 2020 I got my insurance license, which has been a part of the plan since the beginning. Since a young age I have always seen from the outside the success the Willis Corporation’s agents have had, and the freedom that the industry can bring.
Insurance has always been very appealing to me because not only do I see the life that it has provided for my family, but it is that I truly believe in the service. Financial independence and financial literacy are a few of the most important skills and characteristics a person can have and I find a ton of joy helping families understand more about the different products that are offered.
All while being a full time student the hours and hours that I have spent in the field perfecting my craft, learning from #1 producers for some of our main carriers, late night phone calls with top Managers in the industry, and the accountability that I have taken upon myself has been nothing short of a blessing.
The Difference, is in the freedom
I had the amazing opportunity to take a 2 week business trip with my associates to Honolulu, Hawaii to test my skills as well as expand the Willis Corporation horizons.
My own boss & Self-employed
The beauty of the Industry, is that I never punch a clock. I work according to my own schedule and when it’s most convenient for my clients.

Trusted Lead Vendors
The model is simple. Get the leads and go to work. I hold myself accountable when it comes to my craft, because there are people that are relying on my services, to get something in place for themselves or their family.

Independent
In the Insurance industry, there is never one single carrier that can fit every clients needs. The Willis Corporation’s agents are “non-captive” meaning we don’t work for anyone. We take pride in the carriers that we represent and that is why we have contracts with over 25 A+ rated carriers, and represent over 150 products. It is our job to qualify our clients, and find what product fits them best.
accomplishments
In my first month of work in October of 2020, I closed 30 sales out of a total of the 61 clients I talked to, with a first month $10,143 issued paid premium. I was named “Top Prospect” with Infinity Insurance Group, which is a smaller agency under the Willis Corporation. All while balancing a full college workload I continued to sell insurance throughout the year, completely diving into the industry and learning everything I could so when my schedule freed up I knew I would make the most of it.
Top 10
In the month of June, I was a top 10 agent in the country for most issued and paid premiums at $15,005 just with Columbian Financial Group alone, which is ONE of my main carriers. Another $14,000 was placed across some others within the same month.
In one month, I topped $31,000 issued and paid premium as a full time college student
July Premium for “Trip W” = $1706.78
“Premium” is the money a client pays to the companies we represent. Long story short I get the first year that a client pays. We take the total issue paid of $1706.78 x 12 (12 months in the year) and that = $20,481 before commisson.
